Resonance Retreat

Yoga + Sound Healing in Portugal

August 28 to September 3, 2027

at Monte da Orada

Alentejo Region, Southern Portugal

with Cindy Meiri

Settle into your being. Allow deep rest to resonate.

What could shift if you let yourself pause? What if your mind could actually slow down, and your body remembered how to rest on its own?

This is what resonance offers: rest that isn't forced, but rises up naturally once you stop pushing, echoing through you long after you leave.

Join us for a week of dedicated practice, deep spaciousness, and somatic inquiry, held in the wild heart of Portugal's Alentejo region.

The Daily Flow

  • Mornings: Inquiry-based, all-levels active yoga practice.

  • Afternoons: Open wide for integration, quiet, or optional onsite bodywork.

  • Late Afternoons: Gentle Restorative Yoga or Yoga Nidra, with Cindy Meiri's intuitive sound healing.

  • Mid-Week Pause: One fully free afternoon to explore nearby beaches, connect, or enjoy solitude.

The Sanctuary & Amenities

Monte da Orada is a family-owned sustainable retreat set on 175 acres of protected land. Originally a 12th-century nature sanctuary renowned for its healing spring, this land has held people in sacred practice for centuries.

Built on permaculture principles and nestled between peaceful oak forests and the Atlantic ocean, just 20 minutes from some of Portugal’s most stunning beaches, it offers modern visitors a true respite from over-scheduled lives.

  • Nourishment: Three vibrant vegetarian meals daily, crafted with fresh produce, often harvested directly from the gardens.

  • Rest & Recovery: Full access to the natural bio-swimming canal and pool, relaxing sauna, and invigorating cold plunge. Optional massage and bodywork.

Rooted in wild oak forests, running streams, and open sky, this place naturally calls you back to your own rhythm.

Less striving. More space. True resonance.

Honest Practice & Deep Care

This retreat is an invitation to explore self-inquiry, step away from constant doing, and drop into genuine rest.

Reflections from Past Guests

“Amongst a sea of beautiful wildflowers and pine forest, accompanied by the gentle sound of valley streams... the food was out of this world.”

“The setting is simply beautiful... I arrived feeling tired out and left feeling like a different person—rested, nourished, and strong in body and mind.”

“If you really need some space, peace, and time to reset, try new things, eat delicious, healthy food, and connect... I recommend this 100%.”
